Look, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall name him Emmanuel,” which means, “God is with us.” Matthew 1:23 NRSV

God is with us. Are there any more comforting words than that? To hear that I am not on my own, left to wander through life without God’s direction or help, is really good news!With Us

Even better news is that God’s presence with us is not in a philosophical sense, or just in a spiritual sense. God became physically present with us in the person of Jesus Christ. That means Jesus’ birth brought God to you and me in a way we can see, hear and touch.

Jesus’ arrival made it clear, not only is God real;

God is with us now!
